The Archives was a website where students could download school-related files from each other.
It was a well-functioning and well-organized website. With a database of more than 1,000 schools, it was a convenient place for many students to find things.
The idea behind it was simple. The Archives was a central place where students could upload and share summaries, answers and homework. Contrary to what you might think, this did not make students lazy. Many students are busy or experience stress, and such a platform could help them keep an overview and prepare better. The content also came entirely from the users themselves.
Students could upload files, links and exam bundles. They could also select their school, so they got relevant results faster and didn't have to search again and again.
There was also a forum where questions about school could be asked. If someone responded, you would be notified by email.
It was a useful website for many students. Ultimately, the project was stopped because usage was too low to continue maintaining it.
