Rostez
Scheduling software for Team Buurtzorg Gemert

About the project
For Team Buurtzorg Gemert, I built Rostez, a scheduling program that fits how they plan. Existing tools didn't match what they wanted. I developed the perfect system for them.
I made something that works around their fixed shifts, stays fast, and keeps leave and appointments in the same place.
- Planning around fixed shifts
- Leave and appointments in one place
The challenge
The team wanted to schedule their way. Some tools had useful features but lacked flexibility. Others were too complex. Neither matched how they work.
The solution
Rostez is built around fixed shifts. The team adds or edits shifts in settings, clicks them into the schedule, and tweaks times by hand when a day runs differently. Leave and personal appointments sit alongside, so they are not jumping between systems.
How Rostez works
Three choices keep it clear.
Shifts as the foundation
Rostez is designed around fixed shifts. In settings you add new ones or adjust existing ones. That keeps planning fast and easy to scan.
Plan with one click
You pick a shift and drop it into the roster. Times can still be changed manually when the day needs it. No endless dragging or starting over.
Everything in one place
Next to shifts you add leave and personal appointments. Think dentist visits, holidays or a day off. One glance shows what is going on.
The result. What the team gets out of it.
What I did
From the first conversation to a working scheduling tool.
