Hi, I'm Matilda.
Founder and owner of Tilto, and the developer behind every website and product here. I build software that actually works, and I like keeping it that way.
How I got here
I started Tilto when I was fifteen. I'm nineteen now, and I've spent most of the years in between building for the web. It began with gaming, which got me curious about computers, then making things in Word and PowerPoint, and later building websites on platforms like Wix and Jouwweb, until their limits started to get in my way.
At thirteen I discovered real programming, and that changed everything. I began building websites properly and got a little better with every one. In April 2022 I decided to take it seriously and turned it into a business. Finding those first clients was hard, and running a company turned out to be a craft of its own.
In June 2022, at fifteen, I officially registered Tilto with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. Since then I've built a lot of websites and sharpened my skills with every project that came my way.
Today I study HBO ICT part time at Fontys in Eindhoven, after finishing the Software Developer program at Gilde Opleidingen in Venray, all while running Tilto and helping people with my work.
