Bosch Boekel

I recently created a website for Bosch Boekel, a transport company founded by Karel van den Bosch in Boekel. This company started in 1995 with just two refrigerated trucks, specialized in the transport of mushrooms. Since then, they have specialized in various aspects of transport, including length and width transport, round timber transport and general cargo transport. Bosch Boekel has a lot of experience in fine-meshed distribution and container transport and is open to all kinds of challenges!

Although Bosch Boekel is able to transport almost anything, they lacked an online presence and wanted to be more accessible to potential customers. A quick and simple solution was to have your own website. That's why I enjoyed creating the website for the company.

For this website I opted for a simple and modern design, using Bootstrap 5 and custom CSS. This ensures a professional appearance and a user-friendly experience for visitors.

During the development process I experimented a lot with JavaScript to improve the functionality of the website. One of the highlights is the implementation of a simple but effective form wizard for the "Request a Quote" page. This allows visitors to easily fill in the necessary information and request a quote.

Another challenge I faced was creating statistics for the website. Although I learned how to collect statistics, implementing charts using Chart.js proved to be a challenging task. Although the graphs were not completely accurate, fortunately I was able to correctly measure the total reach of the website and the reach per page. However, I plan to make adjustments later to display the graphs more accurately.

In addition to developing the website, I also created the logo for Bosch Boekel. It is a nice, modern logo that fits well with the appearance of the website and the company.

All in all, I am proud of the end result of the website for Bosch Boekel. With its simple, modern design and improved functionalities, the website has now become a valuable tool for the transport company to offer their services and connect with potential customers.
